About the role
We are seeking a great team leader who is passionate and motivated in making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people living in our community. Our disability residential services team leaders supervise teams of support workers responsible for the highest possible standard of care for clients within a 24 hour residential setting. Staff supervision, outstanding customer service, quality of care and continuous quality improvement are the hallmarks of these positions.
Given the nature of this service the successful incumbent will be willing to work an on-call roster, be available to work a regular weekend day as part of ordinary hours, and have a valid Victorian full drivers licence and willingness to use own vehicle as required to travel between residential services.
We’re looking for committed people to join one of Victoria’s largest community services organisations. A certificate IV in disability services is mandatory and tertiary qualifications in human/community services, leadership and management or equivalent will be highly regarded.
Our team leader positions suit people with solid experience working within disability services, preferably in a residential setting and proven team supervision capability. Outstanding professional qualities, good communication and the ability to create and evolve a positive team culture are a must.
