About the role

The Team Leader Family Violence Intervention Programs has primary responsibility for the supervision and support of the Family Violence Interventions Practitioners; ensuring their commitment to the safety of women and children, quality service delivery to perpetrators of family violence and support for their families. This position works within the practice standards as endorsed by Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Family Safety Victoria (FSV)

 Qualifications

Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work, Family Violence or Psychology practice or related discipline.

Formal training in professional supervision/reflective practice is preferred.

Substantive post graduate experience in the field of specialist expertise (Family Violence)

At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
