PCYC NSW is looking for an experienced fundraiser and leader to inspire a small but capable team and drive income growth from fundraising. In recent years the organisation has sharpened its focus to empower young people and has built stronger relationships, brand awareness and support from individuals and organisations alike, which can now be leveraged to increase funds to ensure continued impact and growth.
About the role
You will be responsible for accelerating the growth of fundraising across a diversified range of income streams to achieve long term, sustainable income growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Fundraising will lead a high-performance revenue team, and be responsible for developing, driving and delivering best-in-class business fundraising strategies across all revenue streams. You will also oversee the tactical delivery of the current strategies in Regular Giving; Trusts and Foundations; Corporate Partnerships; Campaigns and Community Fundraising; Major Events; Major Gifts; and Bequests. You will be particularly talented at developing corporate partnerships, managing community and workplace giving programs, overseeing events and managing PCYC’s lottery.
You will have a deep understanding and considerable experience in best practice, strategic fundraising combined with a strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of meeting challenging income targets. Drawing on your previous experience, you will demonstrate an excellent ability to build rapport and deepen relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
This is an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role in building upon existing (and implementing new and innovative) multi-channel fundraising initiatives. Taking responsibility for all aspects of people management for the fundraising team, you will have proven leadership experience, providing inspiration and motivation to your optimistic and committed team. You will also demonstrate good financial management skills, be tertiary qualified in Business, Sales and/or Fundraising and hold a current driver’s licence.
