About the role

The Manager Allied Health will drive service growth and development within a medium sized NFP. This role will involve maximising stakeholder engagement opportunities within NDIS, Community Health and other emerging areas. Some of the key deliverables include:

  • Ensure the team provides the highest quality, contemporary client centred care;
  • Achieve targets; improve service efficiency, operational effectiveness and the coordination of the client experience;
  • Development and implementation of a sound clinical governance framework across Primary Health;
  • Ensure a high standard of screening, comprehensive assessment and care planning using a strength based approach, key worker principles and evidence based practice.

About You

You are passionate about improving services, opportunities and access for those who are more vulnerable or disadvantaged and can demonstrate superior skills to plan, coordinate and deliver high quality professional care that embeds long term sustainability. You have proven experience as a manager of services preferably in a complex, diverse, multi/transdisciplinary environment and demonstrated people management skills, particularly in leadership and development of teams. You will also be an experienced clinician with contemporary knowledge of the health sector and community health services.

You will also need

  • Contemporary knowledge of the community health environment in the context of the broader health agenda;
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders;
  • An innovative approach to identifying opportunities.
