About the organisation
Jewish Care (Victoria) Inc is the largest for-purpose provider of aged and community services for the Jewish community in Victoria, and provides a vital ‘whole of life’ range of professional care, services and facilities. These include Residential Aged Care, Assessment Referral and Individual Support Services, Community Aged Care Packages, Linkages, Disability, Mental Health, Youth and Family Services and Holocaust Survivors Programs.
About the role

Reporting to a progressive CEO, you will be a member of the Executive team and lead the Research, Innovation, Policy and Quality Unit that provides expertise across the organisation, including embedding a culture of research and evidence-based practice and enquiry, and responding to public and social policy discussion. You will have oversight of the organisation’s Quality Management System, continuous improvement plans, policies and procedures, risk management system, incident management system, client feedback program, governance reporting as well as ongoing legislative, regulatory and contractual compliance.
For this crucial, transformational appointment you will require relevant tertiary/post-graduate qualifications and experience at senior level, and the ability to manage a team of 5 capable people. Demonstrated passion for quality customer service and continuous improvement in the human services sector is essential and you should have a background in strongly regulated industries with high levels of accountability. Aged care experience is highly desirable.
