About the role

In support of EACH and Uniting successfully winning the Monash Health tender for the EIPSR (Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response) program, we are very pleased to announce several new career opportunities to support this new, exciting and innovative partnership. The EIPSR program will lead a new way of supporting people with psychosocial issues specifically working to support our clients in their personal recovery journey, achieve set goals, increase independence, functionality and community connections.

We have a number of 2 year fulltime Social Work/Recovery Specialist roles available for those looking to develop their career with EACH, and provide a high level of service and support to the program.

Who we’re looking for
If you have experience in Mental Health, qualified with either Mental Health or Welfare Diploma, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we’re looking for!

As part of our team based at Narre Warren, EACH is looking for Social Worker / Recovery Specialists to provide support to clients to return, or progress to, independent living by delivering psychosocial support to improve their capacity for self-management of their mental illness.

What you’ll be doing
Using your skills and experience in Mental Health/AOD and working within the Social Model of Health, you will be responsible for providing a variety of psychosocial support to clients and/ or carers, individually and in groups to achieve the goals of the EIPSR program. This will involve managing caseloads effectively in collaboration with clinical services and peer workers and providing associated reporting.

Who you’ll be working with
The Team is made up of a Manager, 2 Team Leaders, and social workers/recovery specialists. They are experienced and have extensive knowledge in clinical adult (16-65) mental health assessments and plans, ability to complete detailed notes and keep data records, are aware of mental health service interventions for responding to consumers with the complexity of needs and those at risk and the vulnerabilities which people with psychosocial disabilities experience.
