About the organisation
Safe Futures Foundation is a not for profit Specialist Family Violence Organisation that provides frontline services to women and children to help them escape control, abuse and violence and rebuild their lives. We have been responding to family violence and changing people’s stories for over 40 years. We operate across 2 main sites in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs and our new site in the Western region. We are funded by the Department of Health and Human Services.
The Foundation supports women and children through three key programs:
- Safe in the Community
- Intake and Emergency Response – Eastern and Western regions and
- Community Connect

About the role

Safe Futures is seeking a suitably qualified person for the position of Administration Support Women and Children’s Services to augment our new 24 hour state of the art, purpose built Refuge and Emergency Accommodation Service located in Wyndham.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working as part of a dynamic team the Administration Support worker at SFF Wyndham has the primary responsibility to contribute to the delivery of services for women and children with complex needs who are experiencing family violence and are accessing Safe Futures Foundation emergency crisis facility Wyndham.
The Administration Support worker is required to provide the initial contact for stakeholders in the office. The position will provide comprehensive reception service including managing a front counter during office hours as well as providing front of house services to residents and stakeholders. The position will also undertake property related duties in conjunction with the Manager to ensure the vacated properties are ready for occupancy and coordination of property maintenance.
The Administration Support worker within Safe Futures Foundation holds a key position in the organisation and is accountable to the Manager Safe Futures Wyndham service.
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in office operations management and support
All applicants must have a valid Working with Children’s check, current Drivers Licence and appointment to this position is subject to a National Police check.
