About the Role

The role is positioned within the Corporate and Community Engagement team and reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing, managing and fostering relationships between WaterAid and its corporate partners. The role will focus on leveraging current relationships and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities to establish sustainable partnerships that create shared value.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in planning all steps in corporate relationships management, from prospecting to reporting back on program’s results;
• Past success preparing and presenting partnerships proposals and securing funding;
• Experience in developing and managing a pipeline of prospective partners;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including persuasive presentation abilities, effective listening, diplomacy and tact, team-playing with demonstrated success in dealing with external stakeholders;
• Mature, charismatic personality possessing the style, stature and leadership required to work effectively with senior staff and volunteers.
