The Role
Reporting to the CEO and leading a small team, this is a hands on role with responsibility for the development and execution of fundraising initiatives to source and secure philanthropic, corporate and government funding in Australia and overseas. You will:
- Identify key champions, leaders and supporters to participate in fundraising initiatives
- Maintain a strong operational framework to support the fundraising strategy
- Participate in the highly level fundraising subcommittee of the Board
- Build and engage with a community of supporters
Skills Required
You are currently in a senior role with experience in development, advancement, corporate partnering and sponsorship, fundraising, sales or equivalent. Importantly, you have good attention to detail and are able to demonstrate success in establishing, cultivating and maintaining high-level, strong relationships with key executives and influential donors.
You are adept at building support:
- Through the implementation and management of income-generating strategies and
- By thinking strategically and tactically about the relationship between funders and income goals.
