About the role

Employment type: Full time (1.0 EFT), fixed term until 30 June 2021

Sunbury Community Health has an exciting opportunity for an Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Counsellor to provide comprehensive counselling and support services for clients and families impacted by alcohol and/or other drugs.

To be considered for this position, you will be tertiary qualified and will have completed AOD or equivalent competencies. You will have demonstrated experience supporting complex clients and their families throughout the lifecycle of their treatment plans. This will involve assessing, developing and managing tailored treatment plans and providing effective counselling interventions for individuals. You will have a strong desire and willingness to build new partnerships across the community thereby improving the interagency collaboration and recovery pathways for clients.
