About the role
Reporting to the Board of Reledev Australia, the Executive Manager will work closely with the Board, staff, volunteers and key stakeholders to manage the day-to-day running of the Company office. You will be responsible for the financial management of the Company, overseeing the end-to-end process for all Reledev projects and the implementation of strategic plans and risk management responses.
You will be the point of contact for all Government agencies and for the Australian Council for International Development.
You will manage all human resources of the organisation, including volunteers who provide their services at the office, volunteer coordinators and volunteer team leaders. You will also oversee all IT, web and file management systems.
You will coordinate fundraising efforts and presentations to donors as required. You will oversee all physical resources including purchases, equipment maintenance and assest control. You will also ensure that the Company asheres to and satisfies all relevant codes of practice and codes of conduct.
This role is part-time postion working 4 days per week. The role is located at Kingsgford in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
Key Requirements
Your willingness to comit to the mission and vision of Reledev Australia as well as your ability to foster and develop collaborative and productive working relationships are key to this role. Just as important is your ability to work with a Board and to manage stakeholder expectations.
You will have experience in financial management or accounting, business administration, operations management, people management, marketing and/or strategic & risk management. Experience working in the not-for-proifit sector and/or in an overseas aid organisation would be desirable.
You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven people management ability.
Specifically, the following are our Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting or in a area relevant to the role
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience working with and managing volunteers
- Experience managing fundraising programs and liaising with donors
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite or similar, along with a general understanding of IT/computer equipment and functionality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
