Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager People and Culture is a vital and respected member of the Executive Team. Working closely with management, you will drive and implement the People and Culture (PaC) strategy and business plans, policies and procedures, programs and services for all people-related matters to enable organisational effectiveness.
This is an exciting role for an inspirational, empowering and effective Human Resources (HR) leader with extensive experience and expertise across all HR functions gained within large, complex organisational settings. You excel at working with your team to collaborate, generate ideas and deliver results. You are a leader who supports your staff to develop and reach their full potential.
To be successful in this role you will have experience at Executive/senior management level in leading a complex People and Culture function, with superior skills and knowledge in managing and delivering a diverse range of strategic HR projects and initiatives across IR/ER, Organisational Development, Talent Acquisition, Workplace Health & Safety, Diversity and Inclusion, Workforce Planning, Remuneration and Reward, and Performance Management. You will also demonstrate sound knowledge of and experience operating within the Australian IR framework.
You have a proven track record of collaborative leadership and management in complex and challenging multi-program operating environments. A strategic, visionary and inspiring leader with expertise in transformational change, you are skilled in creating a culture of employee excellence. Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills enable you to effectively influence and negotiate across a diverse range of stakeholders.
This role will suit someone who demonstrates exceptional values-driven leadership, aligns with the mission and purpose of SSI, has proven capability to deliver results on time and within budget, professional maturity and emotional intelligence and the desire and ability to make a significant difference in the lives of others.
