This critical role will see you effectively and efficiently managing The Ashy to ensure budget, strategic objectives, operational efficiency and legislative requirements are met. You will have oversight for optimum staff & volunteer management and, importantly, all marketing and promotional campaigns and strategy.
For this values-based role you will ideally be tertiary qualified, possess a full driver’s licence, and have at least 5 years’ experience working in a retail or op shop environment. You will bring demonstrated financial management acumen and marketing nous, excel at relationship management and thrive in a small team environment.
About the organisation

Samarinda Ashburton Aged Services (SAAS) is a NFP providing vital residential and community care support services. The Ashy Op Shop, established in 1967, is recognised as one of Melbourne’s top op shops. It sells a range of donated quality vintage and designer clothing & accessories for adults and children, homewares, plants, books and furniture. Funds raised go towards supporting SAAS, helping locals as they age to remain connected to their community.
