About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive and working in collaboration with the Executive team, the General Manager, Housing Services has overall responsibility for the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of tenants and applicants. You will provide leadership that empowers and inspires a culture of team performance and best practice, achieving and exceeding Housing Registrar standards. You will contribute to the strategic and operational direction of HousingFirst and take a lead role in driving innovation through service development initiatives.

Exceptional leadership skills are essential, and you will have a successful track record within a senior management role that has a focus on operational service improvement. A deep understanding of tenancy and property management would be preferred, along with a familiarity of all levels of government policy. An energetic self-starter, with superior organisational and project management skills, you will be used to working under pressure and navigating complex issues and competing priorities. Commitment to social justice principals is essential.
