Down Syndrome NSW’s vision is to support people with Down syndrome to achieve their full potential in all life stages. The Association does this by delivering social and educational opportunities and programs, providing information and support services to families and advocating for change to break down systemic barriers.

In this role, you will lead the Association through this period of community change and support the Board in adjusting strategic direction. You will foster relationships with key stakeholders, seek out new partnerships and secure funding for ongoing sustainability. At an operational level, you will manage transition to online service delivery, the team and day-to-day activities.
You will demonstrate a commitment to the principles of participation and inclusion of people with disability and alignment with the Association’s vision, mission and values. You will have a proven track record at a senior leadership level with the ability to thinking strategically and execute on plans. You will bring high EQ, confident stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to guide the team through change. You will have your head across the financials, funding, governance and working with the board. This role is 4 days per week for six months.
