About the role
The EDVOS board has recently undergone a process of renewal and is now seeking applications from women with lived experience of family violence to join our volunteer board. Previous experience in governance would be useful, but not essential.
EDVOS seeks applicants who:
• can contribute in at least one identified professional and / or industry knowledge areas;
• are able and willing to share their knowledge and experience to improve what we do;
• are in a position, both physically and emotionally, to confidently and safely engage in EDVOS board director role.
Board meetings are currently scheduled for the last Wednesday of each month in the evening (generally 6pm commencement). Board members are also expected to contribute through participation in one of three Board Committees: Finance and Audit, Governance, Quality and Risk.
