Foundation Administration Coordinator

As the largest provider of public healthcare in Melbourne’s west, Western Health is on a significant growth trajectory. With the opening 12 months ago of the new Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, a new Emergency Department in construction at Sunshine, and a new Footscray Hospital – Victoria’s largest public hospital build to date – opening in 2025, we are well positioned to support the increasingly influential communities of the west. This organisational growth and development is supported by a well-regarded and growing philanthropic Foundation.  We are now seeking an experienced fundraising administrator to join the Western Health Foundation team and deliver a range of essential support services vital to business continuity.  Your expertise in process and systems, along with your capacity to engage and strengthen relationships, will be put to good use in this role.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining CRM style databases
  • Very strong confidence working in Excel, Word and Adobe softwares
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to relate effectively to all stakeholders, including senior staff, high net worth individuals, and people from culturally diverse backgrounds
  • Proven financial skills and confidence in managing money responsibly
  • An amazing eye for detail
  • The ability to work to set processes and systems whilst simultaneously embracing unplanned or new challenges.
