About the role

The FDRP role is expected to provide information and deliver education and mediation services to individuals and families in a variety of circumstances. This role is an ongoing role available on full time or part time basis, based in Canberra (several vacancies available).

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, law or social sciences.
  • Has completed (or willingness to complete under RACR funding) either:
  1. The full Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (or higher education provider equivalent); or
  2. An appropriate qualification or accreditation under the National Mediation Accreditation Scheme and competency in the six compulsory units from the Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (or higher education provider equivalent); and
  3. FDRP registration with Attorney-General’s Department.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a mediation or conflict resolution role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of family and domestic violence, crisis intervention models, grief and loss in the context of family separation and child development.

Salary & Benefits 

The salary on offer is in the range of $80,147.08 to $84,884.96 per annum plus superannuation for full time. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay. Successful interstate candidates can expect reimbursement of relocation expenses.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
