About the role
We are looking for a Principal Executive (International Programs) to manage humanitarian and development initiatives, and build and maintain strong relationships with CARE International Country Offices.
This role will manage key internal and external relationships with a focus on growing revenue and business opportunities.

As a part of our senior management team, this role will lead the fight against global poverty with a focus on building a stronger, more sustainable and more impactful CARE Australia.
In this role you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and with a focus on maximising impact of our humanitarian and development programs
- Provide strong technical oversight of all critical portfolios areas.
- Lead exploration of new opportunities for program development and innovation across our region.
- Champion advocacy efforts that advance our mission and ensure CARE Australia is a valued, credible and influential voice in areas of strategic interest.
- Ensure sustainability of our programs, in an environment of complex risk and compliance.
- Build the capacity of implementing partners to deliver excellent results for CARE Australia.
