About the role
As the largest provider of public healthcare in Melbourne’s west, Western Health is on a significant growth trajectory. With the opening 12 months ago of the new Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, a new Emergency Department in construction at Sunshine, and a new Footscray Hospital – Victoria’s largest public hospital build to date – opening in 2025, we are well positioned to support the increasingly influential communities of the west. This organisational growth and development is supported by a well-regarded and growing philanthropic Foundation. We are now seeking an experienced fundraiser to lead the Donor Engagement team in a newly created senior position within the Western Health Foundation. Your expertise in engagement management, creative campaigns, and strategic prospect pipeline development will all be called on in this role.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in a philanthropic, fundraising or business development role
- A demonstrated capacity to build the influence and impact of an organisation by developing and managing relationships
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding financial targets
- Experience in managing and motivating a high performing team
- A quick wit and a good sense of humour
With an attractive salary package, and the opportunity to work flexibly over four or five days per week, this role will allow you the creative and strategic capacity to take our fundraising programs to the next level.
