Case Worker, Families First (PAKT)

The purpose of the Families First program is to provide intensive in-home family preservation services by working alongside families to address identified protective concerns and enhance family functioning.

Providing an intensive outreach service to families in their environment, the Case Worker works in partnership with the Child Protection worker and is responsible for providing a comprehensive assessment and intervention report at closure of the intervention, and regular updates throughout.

Working on two-three interventions at any one time, the aim of the Case Worker is to prevent unnecessary out-of-home care for children and young people, while ensuring their safety and well-being.
