About the organisation
The Children’s Hospice Association Inc. (CHA) is a registered not-for-profit organisation trading by the name Hannah’s House. Hannah’s House exists to provide health and support services to children with life limiting conditions and their families.
Our Vision is to provide care, comfort and joy for every child with a life-limiting condition and their family.
About the role
We are at a point in our journey where we are seeking to hire a Chief Executive Officer who can lead the organisation through a period of growth and development. The CEO will join Hannah’s House at a pivotal time as we look towards the future role of Hannah’s House in looking after the needs of children with life-limiting needs outside of a hospital setting. The CEO will have a strong focus and input to the strategic direction and objectives for Hannah’s House over the next five years.
The CEO will be responsible for setting and executing the organisational strategy for Hannah’s House. In addition, the role will be responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team of experts.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent leadership skills
- The ability to form effective relationships at all levels, including key external stakeholders
- Well-developed negotiation and communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen with sound financial management skills
- Experience of engaging effectively at Board level
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification. Post graduate qualification/s in leadership/management is highly desirable
Candidates who have experience in the not-for-profit and health care sector/s will be highly regarded.
