As the First Nations Statement of Commitment Coordinator, you will increase and enhance opportunities for Orygen to connect with, and provide appropriate services and programs for First Nations People of Australia. You will achieve this by taking lead on coordinating and delivering Orygen’s Statement of Commitment and Cultural Strengthening Plan and support initiatives to build Orygen’s capacity to provide a culturally safe environment.
You will have established relationships with First Nations Communities, and will have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate, liaise and work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
As a guide, remuneration of $70,000 – $80,000 per annum is offered, dependent on skills and experience; NFP generous salary sacrificing opportunities are also available to the successful candidate.

About you
As the First Nations Statement of Commitment Coordinator, you will have:
Knowledge or training equivalent to proven experience with implementing a Statement of Commitment, or Reconciliation Action Plan or similar.
Ability to generate and use a level of theoretical and applied knowledge to perform work assignments guided by policy, precedent, professional standards and technical expertise.
