Organisation Name : Transparency International Australia

Transparency International’s global mining programme, Accountable Mining, aims to enhance transparency and accountability in the way mining licences, concessions and permits are granted.

The programme is coordinated globally by Transparency International Australia (TIA), based inMelbourne, and is led in-country by local partners in 20 resource-rich countries. The programme focuses on strengthening systems to prevent and reduce corruption risks using an evidence-based and multi-stakeholder approach.

As part of this programme, Transparency International is working with companies of different sizes to strengthen business integrity and anti-corruption practices in the context of licensing and project acquisition. The programme has developed and is currently piloting a tool for evaluating company policies and procedures.

About the role

Call for Expression of Interest!

We have developed a tool for evaluating mining company policies and procedures to strengthen business integrity and anti-corruption practices. We are now looking for a web developer to develop a clear and user-friendly interactive online version of this tool. The details of how the tool will work will be decided in a collaborative inception workshop involving the consultant and project team.

The consultant’s work will include:

  • Co-designing and participating in the inception workshop;
  • Providing strategic and technical advice on the design and maintenance of this tool;
  • Developing the online assessment tool in collaboration with our project team.
  • Participating in testing the tool.

Please note:
No travel is expected as part of this consultancy. The consultant will complete this assignment from their primary place of work.
