About the role

  • Part-time (0.8 FTE) to full-time fixed term position for 12months
  • Leading organisation in youth mental health

Part-time (0.8 – 0.9 FTE) to full-time fixed term position available for 12 months with the possibility of renewal dependent on funding. 

We believe that all young people deserve to grow into adulthood with optimal mental health. Everything we do is focused on that outcome, pioneering new, positive approaches to the prevention and treatment of mental disorders. 

As the Clinical Implementation Lead, your contribution will build the support of centres and services that will be critical to the successful implementation of Orygen Digital’s Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST) platform and to the creation of positive impact for young people experiencing mental ill-health. This position will lead the initial and ongoing engagement with headspace centres and specialised mental health services to support the continued development of the MOST platform and service model through the translation of feedback from services and application of clinical experience. 

You will possess a high level of capacity to work with many services and stakeholders, and will operate at a senior level, possessing extensive experience working in a clinical setting within the Australian youth mental health system.

As a guide, remuneration of $110,000 – $140,000 per annum pro rata is offered, dependent on skills and experience; NFP generous salary sacrificing opportunities are also available to the successful candidate.

About you

Fully qualified Psychologist, Social Worker, accredited mental health Occupational Therapist or other mental health professional with eligibility for appropriate membership with accredited registering body;

Theoretical and applied knowledge related to stakeholder engagement; 

An understanding of youth mental health systems and the not-for-profit sector, and an ability to apply this knowledge to the Orygen Digital context;

Extensive experience working in a clinical setting within the Australian youth mental health system;

Experience in the management of implementation projects or activities;

Experience leading and/or supervising clinical teams; 

Experience designing and implementing new service models; 

Experience in training and/or public communication.
