The College Foundation has long been an important advocate of the College’s mission as it has enabled and supported the College through engagement with its close community and raised philanthropic support that will ensure its continued success well into the future. The College now seeks a new Director of Foundation who will have strategic and operational leadership for the Foundation Office and its activities, building on a strong culture of philanthropy established over the past decades.
About the role
Reporting to the Principal and as a member of the College Executive, the Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of the College’s fundraising and alumni engagement strategy and programs, raising philanthropic funds in support of the Foundation, in particular its campaign to support a significant redevelopment of the College’s campuses at Milsons Point.
To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience in the leadership of development and alumni engagement programs with a proven track record in cultivating and soliciting significant philanthropic gifts, ideally gained in the education sector. Your management experience in building a high performing team is matched by your ability to mentor and develop staff together with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Critical to success will be your deep belief in and commitment to the mission of St Aloysius’ College.
