About the role
The Manager – Southbank Supported Crisis is responsible for the day-today management of all housing support services and the Alcohol and Other Drugs service run out of Launch Housing’s Southbank residential facility. These services include temporary accommodation case management, transitional support and other services to get people experiencing homelessness housed. The Southbank residential facility includes 46 rooms, 41 for singles and 5 for couples.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have strong team leadership experience, including recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and performance management of staff. You must also have a high-level statistical reporting skills and experience interpreting and managing budgets. You will contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions to improve accommodation and housing outcomes for our clients and develop practice improvements relating to issues of homelessness. You will be skilled at building a strong rapport with others and have well-developed conflict resolution and highly enhanced negotiation skills. Your experience will be in operational management within the community and/or public sectors and you will have a comprehensive understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context and systems.
