About you
You’re a natural-born leader, a mentor and an advocate. With an expansive career in the disability/community health sectors, your knowledge of the disability sector is extensive. You’re also adept at solving problems, using the tools at your disposal to engineer solutions – sometimes on the fly – that deliver. As our Service Manager, Accommodation Services, you will assist and support people with a disability, through providing assisted living on a permanent basis. You will oversee the operation of the home and ensure staffing arrangements are in place. You will manage the finances for the home as well as its Participants and liaise with external stakeholders such as families and Day Services programs.
What do you need?
Your understanding of the disability, community or non-profit sectors will prove instrumental in this role; you’ll need that knowledge to drive change and take advantage of opportunities to improve. In the same vein, you’ll also need to be able to support your team in client-related matters, ensuring your support workers are enhancing and developing existing skills.
