Reporting to the General Manager – Supporter Experience, Acquisition and Growth, the Donor Analytics & Insights Manager is responsible for leading and supporting the Donor Analytics and Insights team; developing and implementing the data strategy for the fundraising department; and leading all areas of insights, analytics and operations to improve the donor experience and long-term revenue.
You will improve and strengthen analytics capability and establish best-practice analytics (both predictive and behavioral analysis) to optimize the fundraising strategy, donor acquisition, life-time donor value (LTDV), donor loyalty and experience. In addition, the role will focus on transitioning the organisation to one that focuses on donor engagement and transformation that creates vibrant and passionate communities of donors.
Leading a small team of six and working collaboratively with the fundraising and marketing departments, you will be responsible for data segmentation, analytics, information integrity, maintenance, reporting, improving processes, campaign dashboards, privacy, security, confidentiality, data warehousing, data migration and transfer, processing, optimisation and user training.
Strategic thinking, problem solving, numerical and analytical skills will be applied to innovate and maximise fundraising delivery. Strong communication skills and the ability to make sound decisions are required, plus experience with data segmentation for multi-channel fundraising streams, including and direct mail and large-scale campaigns. You will be a values-based database leader with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide valuable insights to inform forecasting, learning, benchmarking and campaign results, along with presenting insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and strategic direction. Experience using Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, 5+ years of data management experience and qualifications in Business, Commerce or Marketing is desirable.
