About the role

You will be responsible for securing large and medium non-financial partnerships for Raise Foundation to recruit volunteer mentors from multiple channels including but not limited to corporate, government, education, community, and private organisations.

Reporting to the Volunteer Engagement Manager, this role will work collaboratively across all departments with Raise to increase our volunteer mentor base and generate long term mentoring partnerships over the coming years.

This role is being offered for 30 hours per week on a contract basis for 6 months initially.

About You

You are a community minded individual with a genuine interest in the well-being of young people.

As a Mentor Partnerships Manager, you will be motivated by the business development cycle and meeting and exceeding sales related KPIs and targets. You will bring strong sales planning, prospecting and closing skills to this role, always taking a customer focused approach.

You will have had prior experience representing organisations or foundations to corporate, government, community, and education partners along with strong stakeholder management skills.

You have exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills and have strong IT skills – including Microsoft Office365, Salesforce, and cloud-based systems such as Google Drive. Prior experience in Salesforce will be viewed favourably.

This role will require you to have, or be willing to obtain relevant Youth Safety Checks. You must hold or be willing to obtain a current Working with Children (Employee) Check and National Crime Check and will be asked to complete our Raise Mentor Training Course.
