The Role
This position plays a significant role in assisting people experiencing homelessness and currently accommodated in hotel and motel accommodation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The
Intensive Support Coordinator reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for ensuring the requirements of the relevant funding and reporting agreements are met.
The Intensive Support Coordinator oversees a team of Support Workers who will transition people from hotel to alternative accommodation and will provide direction to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality programs and services. The position will contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions to improve accommodation and outcomes for clients.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive operational experience within the homelessness sector. You will also have leadership qualities including a high degree of initiative and analytical skills. You must hold a tertiary qualification in human services, social work, mental health or other relevant discipline.
