About the role
We are looking for a Program Officer, Mental Health & AOD to work on a range of mental health, AOD and suicide prevention initiatives. In partnership with MH & AOD Managers, you will commission integrated services and other initiatives that respond to local needs, and work across all aspects of the process including project initiation, co-design, procurement and contract management.
Who we are looking for
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in health care and in a mental health or community services related discipline
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of organisations
- An understanding of co-design principles and/or commissioning
- Experience in data analysis, project management and project management administration

EMPHN is an organisation of approximately 90 staff, and is one of the major commissioners of federally-funded health care services in Melbourne. EMPHN is responsible for improving the primary health care system, by facilitating health system improvements in the eastern and north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
