About The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre
We are a leading organisation offering a comprehensive suite of services to clients and the community across the Barwon, West Melbourne and Wimmera Regions. Providing specialist sexual assault and family violence programs and services, including 24 hour crisis care support, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training, we continue to grow and develop our offerings.
About the Role
This role is based in Geelong, however you will initially commence working remotely from home due to coronavirus (COVID-19). You must have a confidential space within your home and reliable internet connection to work remotely. No face-to-face appointments will be required with clients whilst working from home unless otherwise specified.
In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of family violence case managers, providing professional supervision and ensuring the highest quality service to our clients including case management, intake, risk assessment, crisis and court support, CALD projects, and housing programs. You will also manage a small case load. As the Team Leader, you are passionate about your work and enjoy collaborating while being accountable for team performance outcomes. You will manage, support and develop team members to build a culture of high performance, collaboration and innovation.
About You
You will be a values driven person, motivated to make a difference and you hold the client at the centre of everything you do. You thrive working both autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic, team environment. A highly qualified and experienced family violence specialist, you will have qualifications in psychology, social work or a related field and have proven experience in practice leadership and building capability. The successful candidate will be required to maintain a current Working With Children’s check and National Police Check at their own expense.
