About the role

We are specifically seeking new directors with qualifications and substantial experience in Grants and Philanthropy, Capital management, and Community relations. Importantly, not only do you have a belief in human rights, social equity and the importance of stable housing, but in addition to your grants and philanthropy, capital management, and community relations skills, you have the professional experience and qualifications to contribute to our strategic development. You also have excellent interpersonal communication skills, and have, or are eligible to obtain a Working with Children Positive Notice Blue Card and Disability Service Positive Notice Yellow Card. Governance experience is desirable – preferably as a member either of a NFP Board or a Management Committee. Forming a skilled and committed Management Committee, Volunteer Directors are working with and supporting the Services Manager and staff to continue to expand and develop the capacity of IRASI to contribute to human rights and social justice.
