Community Coordinator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Community Coordinator to join our Community Development team at Beyond Bank Australia. Reporting to the Senior Community Development Manager, you will operate in a collaborative environment where you will support the team objectives and local area business plans.

As Community Coordinator you will:

• Assisting to build the organisation brand whilst focussing on Brand Awareness, Community Impact & Customer Acquisition through region based community partnerships;
• Develop and maintain a strategic focus on building mutually beneficial partnerships through our community programs, activities, promotions & events;
• Proactively assist community customers with banking requirements and develop long lasting valued relationships built on trust and respect;
• Perform general banking duties such as opening accounts and establishing signatories
• Administrative duties such as event management, coordinating volunteering activities, and compliance requirements;
• Assist the Senior Community Development Manager to build and maintain relationships in the community sector by coordinating community activities that support the community strategy and achieve business performance objectives;

About you:

• Experience in the banking sector is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong relationship building and networking skills within the community sector
• Strong administration skills
• A good lateral thinker with an eye for detail
• Experience in business development is desirable
• A passion for supporting the local community with demonstrated experience in community event planning and volunteering activities
