About the role

  • Location: Ringwood, Victoria, Australia

Our Service Strategy, Marketing and Communications team is looking for a .6FTE Health Service Planner until December 2021!

If you’re qualified in health promotion, public health or another relevant community/human service-related field, preferably experienced working in the Victorian state-funded AOD sector and enjoys networking with a diverse group, then you might be exactly who we are looking for!

You will bring a natural curiosity, high-le vel analytical skills in planning, data analysis and systems thinking. Your well-demonstrated communication skills will allow you to work with a variety of demographics, write reports and frameworks that clearly outline your strategic view. Your overall passion for service improvement within the sector, collaborative approach and ability to manage your time will allow you to be successful in this role, making a huge difference to thousands of Victorians lives!

What you’ll be doing
As the Health Service Planner, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing delivery of catchment-based planning for AOD services and across Eastern Metropolitan Melbourne areas. A big part of the role will be reviewing the work achieved to date under the AOD Catchment-Based Planning (CBP), through various forms of information gathering activities, data collation and analysis, and working in partnership with a wide variety of health/social services and g overnment-funded organisations. Allowing you to refresh, re-orient the CBP function in the region and begin the development of the 2021-2024 catchment plans.

Who you’ll be working with
Reporting into the Lead – Business Development and Projects, you will be part of the Service Strategy, Marketing and Communications team. We are a small friendly team with a strong customer focus.

The team sits within the organisation’s Strategy, Development and Marketing Directorate, alongside Quality and Risk, Service Design, Sector Support and Intake and Access teams.
