About the Role
Take ownership of the end to end internal recruitment function for this not-for-profit, community-based organisation. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you will work alongside a passionate, collaborative and supportive team of professionals to truly make a difference in the community. Working in this team you will be exposed to generalist human resources matters, so this role would be suited to someone who is genuinely looking to build a career in HR, with the desire to grow and develop their skills over time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaising with and providing advice and guidance to Hiring Managers
- Writing and posting of job advertisements and developing a quality candidate pool
- Create sourcing strategies and work to attract candidates via numerous platforms
- Reviewing resumes and conducting phone screen interviews
- Scheduling and potentially participating in panel interviews
- Completing comprehensive reference checking
- Assist with onboarding of successful candidates
- Other human resources duties as required to support the team
Skills & Experience required
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating end to end recruitment from sourcing to offer and onboarding
- Qualifications in human resources or a genuine interest in this area is highly desirable
- A passion and commitment to excellence with core values that align to working with a not-for-profit
- The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with key stakeholders at all levels
- A team player – the willingness to support your colleagues to work together to achieve a common goal
- Sense of initiative and someone who is adaptable to changes within the organisation
