About the role

About the Role

Jewish Care Victoria is seeking a vibrant and passionate Volunteer Coordinator to be part of their team. This role will be responsible for actively supporting and assisting the promotion of volunteering within Jewish Care and the Jewish community through the development and implementation of initiatives and processes that maximise the quality of service and the utilisation of volunteers. This is a permanent part time role, 3 days per week or equivalent based on St. Kilda Road.

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • An intermediate to high level of computer literacy and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organisational and coordination skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Assisting with training and events 
  • Relevant experience in volunteer program coordination
