About the role

The Executive Director, Philanthropy and Community Investment is a newly created full-time executive position that will work closely with the CEO and the Women’s Board to establish a new and highly-effective fundraising enterprise.  As head of the hospital’s Office of Philanthropy and Community Investment, the Executive Director will spearhead the organisation’s new strategic approach to fundraising and donor investment, and drive a culture of philanthropy, innovation and donor value across the entire organisation.

You will bring extensive experience operating at an executive level in strategic philanthropy program management.  As a highly respected, proactive leader who inspires confidence, you will come to the role with a solid background in donor stewardship and be capable of building a high-performing and results-driven team.  Your ability to influence a diverse range of constituencies to embed a culture of philanthropy will have been gained in the healthcare, medical, research or a similarly complex environment.  In return, the hospital offers a wholly supportive Board and leadership team who are committed to working in partnership with the Executive Director to help achieve the hospital’s philanthropic goals.
