About the organisation
Australian Doctors International (ADI) is a small, dynamic and rapidly growing not-for-profit organisation delivering and strengthening primary health services in rural and remote communities in Papua New Guinea (PNG). From its head office in Seaforth on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, ADI’s particular focus is on health patrols and in-service training, deploying volunteer doctors and health coordinators to work in partnership with provincial health services, private companies and faith-based health providers. Through 2020, ADI added remote training and provision of PPE to its range of services as a response to COVID.
About the role
The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, management and effective coordination of ADI’s programs and people in the Sydney office and in PNG. The CEO also develops and enhances professional relationships with diverse stakeholders including our PNG partners, community members, governments and in fundraising including through corporate and philanthropic organisations. The CEO works closely with the Board, members of ADI Committees and ensures a safe and harmonious work environment.
