About the role

About the role

We are seeking an innovative, community-focused and results driven professional to lead our Community Care Team as we enter an exciting period of policy reform and service development focused on improving well-being outcomes for older people and people with disabilities across the Shire.

You will be a natural leader with outstanding analytical and planning skill. You will demonstrate the ability to administer and optimise complex financial and service systems to achieve value for money and maximum benefit to our service users.

Leading a multi-disciplinary team, you will have a proven track record of success in the delivery and coordination of community care services and demonstrate highly developed and engaging communication skills, deep subject knowledge and a drive for continuous improvement and service excellence.

You will work closely with the Manager Community Services to oversee the development and implementation of a range of Council plans and strategies, in particular the Positive Ageing Strategy and Disability Action Plan, both of which are scheduled for completion in early 2021.

In return we can offer a generous salary package, flexible working arrangements, a beautiful Central Victorian work location and a dynamic and ambitious working culture. We look forward to welcoming you into the team.

What we offer you

We are open to discussing the possibility of flexible working arrangements including part-time hours and flexible start and finishing times that work for both you and the organisation. You are welcome to discuss these opportunities at interview.

We offer a great salary, excellent growth opportunities and the ability to really influence the future of our council and its surrounds. If this sounds like you, be part of an innovative and committed council and apply today!
