About the organisation
The Foundation's purpose is to identify and nurture outstanding Scholars who are destined to be Australia's future leaders and who through their work will address major challenges facing our nation. To achieve this, the Foundation raises funds for and administers the John Monash Scholarships, which are provided to Scholars to enable them to study at a postgraduate level overseas. The Scholarships recognise academic excellence, leadership, and future contribution to Australia. The Foundation's work is conducted through its Board supported by an Investment, Audit and Risk Committee.
About the role
Exciting opportunity to join the small, dynamic team at the General Sir John Monash Foundation as the Marketing and Events Manager. We are looking for a qualified Marketing graduate who is committed to the not–for–profit sector and enthusiastic about being part of an organisation that supports outstanding Scholars, who will become the future leaders of Australia, to pursue postgraduate study overseas.
Communication and engagement with the Foundations’ diverse stakeholders is vital to enhancing the Foundation’s profile and supports fundraising, which makes our work possible. If you are confident with all aspects of marketing and communications, capable of multi-tasking, managing events, writing for a range of media and happy to have a hands–on role as a key part of a busy team, we would love to hear from you.
