The Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria Inc. (ECCV) represents the voices of multicultural Victoria. About the role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Ageing Well Coordinator to coordinate elder abuse awareness raising in culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Victoria, while providing support and advice to seniors’ clubs and associations within CALD communities on service access and participation.
The position focuses on early intervention, capacity building and ageing well initiatives through the delivery of community education, capacity building workshops and the training of bilingual/bicultural facilitators. The position requires skills in project coordination, training and community development.
The position is 0.8FTE and remunerated at Level 5 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
