About the role
Join our small organisation and provide support to our fantastic team so that we can be the best that we can be in working with older people towards housing justice. Great conditions, supportive team, satisfying work contributing to changing the lives of older people in housing stress.
We are seeking a versatile and experienced community development professional to support the effective delivery of HAAG’s community engagement work, including implementation of the Wicking Ageing on the Edge Older Persons’ Homelessness Prevention Project. You will be assisting our Prevention and Early Intervention workers and supplementing their efforts on both project-related and ongoing HAAG community engagement. This is a short-term position within our growing organisation.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be minimal face-to-face work and you will need the ability to work from home. You will have high levels of self-organisation, a collaborative approach and can-do attitude. Knowledge of systems and peer advocacy and campaigning an advantage.
