Who we are
Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a social purpose organisation that works with partners to improve the lives of people in need in Australia by helping businesses, governments and philanthropists to be more effective funders and social purpose organisations to be more effective at delivering services.
The Bright Spots School Connection (The Connection) team provides support to develop projects and actions that respond to the issues of education disadvantage in Australia’s most challenged school communities.

The position
We have an exciting part-time opportunity (3 days per week) on offer to join The Connection team on a maximum-term basis until Dec 2022, with possibility of extension (funding dependent). The Digital Product Manager (Education) designs, implements and maintains The Connection’s new digital educational collaboration platform that will provide access to resources and acts as a promotion tool for school leaders and key education stakeholders in major cities and regional, rural or remote communities. Reporting to the Associate Director, the role will lead the implementation and development of the platform whilst working alongside knowledgeable internal and external stakeholders who provide technical and content support. The role also requires proactive leadership in identifying opportunities for further enhancements to the platform.

Who you are
We are seeking a highly collaborative and pro-active individual who can work alongside experienced internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a customer-centric mindset coupled with excellent project management skills to lead, develop, and support the implementation of our digital collaboration platform. Experience within the social sector or government relevant to the education practice is desirable.
