SVA’s Ventures enables a community of engaged philanthropists to support high impact social ventures that improve the lives of people in need in Australia. We help convene sector stakeholders, incubate innovative service delivery approaches and advocate for change.

The position
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Program Manager, Early Childhood to manage and support SVA’s system change initiatives on young children experiencing vulnerability.

Reporting to the Director Early Childhood, the primary purpose of this role is to lead content development and manage the implementation of a number of initiatives to grow and effectively implement The Young Children Thriving program, in collaboration with partners across the not-for-profit, government and business sectors.

Who you are
We are seeking a highly collaborative individual with deep knowledge of and passion for early childhood development, who has an informed understanding of the drivers to achieve system change and experience in designing, implementing and operationalising advocacy strategies in the social sector.

With outstanding analysis, writing and project management skills, you will be known for your experience in operating within a multi-stakeholder environment. Your ability to build and enhance a range of sustainable relationships with stakeholders and operate in diverse cultural settings will be key to your success.

This unique position provides exposure to challenging and rewarding opportunities across the social sector, working on society’s most important challenges. The focus of this role will see you leading research and content development to progress a range of initiatives, including internal monitoring and evaluation frameworks, whilst forging close relationships with a breadth of highly engaged stakeholders who have unwavering commitment to better outcomes for people in need in Australia.
