About the role

This is an exciting new role based in Sydney’s CBD fringe. The role is permanent part-time, 3 days a week.

Reporting to the Director Member Engagement, this role is responsible for developing and executing CEW’s media strategy to build CEW’s profile and strengthen CEW’s voice and messaging with key audiences, to fulfill CEW’s mission: women leaders enabling women leaders.

The role works directly with CEW’s media agency, CEW President, Members, the CEO, the Policy, Advocacy and Research team, and the Executive team, to help plan and implement CEW’s media strategy to support CEW’s strategic and policy priorities and engagement with members and key stakeholders. Forming and managing positive relationships with journalists, opinion leaders, partner organisations, special interest groups and other stakeholders, will be instrumental to further our goals, drive media coverage and boost reputation. Insights into emerging trends and issues on key themes are also required.

This role requires high levels of collaboration with team members and stakeholders to ensure impactful, integrated activity that creates action toward CEW’s strategic outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate significant hands-on media relations experience at both a strategic and tactical level, with extensive networks across all media and proven experience with social media strategy. You will also have exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills.
