About the organisation

Organisation Name : The Heart Research Institute

The Heart Research Institute (HRI) is an internationally recognised medical research institute that performs groundbreaking cardiovascular research.

Led by 14 groups, 150 scientific staff, across 4 key themes of research over 2 campuses, HRI has built a reputation for impact-led research into cardiovascular disease, strongly supported by donor support which has invested $250M over the past decade.  We firmly believe the next decade will be even more exciting.

About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fundraising professional with an extensive track record in major gifts and philanthropy (six and/or seven figure gifts) to join us at a critical and exciting stage of our growth.

As Director of Philanthropy & Fundraising, you will work with the Chief Executive and Board to lead a revitalised and aspirational development plan for HRI into the future.

Your leadership will focus on building a culture of philanthropy, identifying research and clinical champions to help provide the development and cultivation of top-level prospects behind a focused vision.
