The Sisters of Charity Foundation was established by the Sisters of Charity of Australia to develop partnerships and programs for the relief of poverty and disadvantage in Australia. We currently have four programs:

  • Community Grants Program: We provide grants of up to $15K to projects that tackle poverty and disadvantage.
  • Tertiary Scholarship Program: We provide scholarships for dedicated students from out-of-home care backgrounds to attend university or TAFE.
  • Asylum Seekers Housing Program: We provide emergency and transitional housing for asylum seekers at risk of homelessness, in partnership with the Asylum Seekers Centre.
  • Anti-Slavery Housing Program: We provide transitional housing for survivors of modern slavery, in partnership with the Salvation Army Australia.

About the role

Fundraising and Supporter Relations Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Fundraising and Supporter Relations Coordinator to strengthen and manage our donor development and engagement program. We offer the chance to join a passionate and cooperative team that’s committed to making a difference.

The successful candidate will be a fundraising all-rounder who will excel in donor stewardship and engagement, coordinating regular giving and major gifts, database management, as well as digital and event fundraising.

This is a newly created part-time role, 21 hours (3 days) per week. The initial contract is for 6 months with potential for expansion.

 

About You

In this role, you will bring your experience and initiative to the table to help us expand our fundraising and our impact.

You will be responsible for strengthening our fundraising systems to engage and grow our supporter base and donations.

You are committed to building authentic relationships with donors, supporters and corporates.

You have at least 3 years’ experience in NFP fundraising and Salesforce.

You are passionate about social justice and thrive in a flexible and supportive environment.
