About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager with a passion for Philanthropy and the For Purpose sector, to manage a dedicated portfolio of Charitable Trust accounts.
With deep stakeholder engagement experience, the Senior RM will be responsible for overseeing a diverse and sophisticated set of Charitable Trusts, delivering a high-quality standard of service to our associated Co-Trustees and Advisory Boards. The successful person in this role will achieve strong client satisfaction, solid commercial outcomes and play a critical part in delivering a positive social impact for the community.
This will be an integral role within the Charitable Trusts & Philanthropy team, which is collectively responsible for overseeing approximately $100 million per annum of funding to create positive social change for Australia.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all external stakeholders related to your portfolio (Co-Trustees, Advisory Panel Members, Sector Partners, external Investment Managers etc).
- Working closely with our internal Social Impact team.
- Having oversight of the fiduciary obligations of your portfolio in line with the Will/Deed.
- Representing EQT at key client meetings and events.
- Where required, act as the company representative where Equity Trustees Wealth Services Limited is a Co-Trustee.
- Collaborating with internal business units to ensure that all objectives and obligations of your portfolio are met to a high standard.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills and experience.
- Proven experience in influencing outcomes and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
- Technical knowledge of the industry, wealth management and financial services sector.
- At least 10 years Relationship Management experience, with exposure to the Philanthropy or NFP sector.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the operations and governance of charitable trusts and the relevant legislation eg. Trustee Act, Charities Act, Trustee Companies Act.
- A collaborative, team player approach.
- A mindset of continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical skills, written/verbal skills and a high attention to detail.
